Mount Evans Home Health Care & Hospice is requesting donations of Personal Protection Equipment to fight COVID-19.  To keep our team of nurses, nurse practitioners, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists and certified nursing assistants safe from the virus, and to slow transmission, there is a desperate need for Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), including:

  • Facemasks (N-95 respirators/surgical masks)
  • Latex gloves
  • Sanitizer wipes and hand sanitizer
  • Face shields or goggles
  • Medical gowns

Mount Evans is asking businesses that have a surplus of these or similar items (dentists, restaurants, veterinarians, estheticians, etc.) to donate their PPE. Click here to learn more.

At Mount Evans Home Health Care & Hospice, the health and safety of our staff and patients is our highest priority. We are taking the potential spread of COVID-19 in our service area seriously. We are following all Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) guidelines as we work with our patients and their families.

In an abundance of caution, we are restricting traffic in our administrative offices and have temporarily suspended in-person support groups and will limit office visitors to only those who provide essential services. Some office staff will work remotely and the clinical staff will continue to provide services in the community.

Helpful Resources

COVID-19 is a rapidly evolving situation. Mount Evans suggests that you refer to the CDC and CDPHE for the most up-to-date  information, resources, and guidance.
