Dementia Conversations – Feb. 24

Dementia ConversationsCaregiver Survival Skills is a free educational series presented by the Mountain Caregivers Resource Group. February’s topic, “Dementia Conversations,” will be presented by a representative of the Alzheimer’s Association of Colorado.

When someone you know shows signs of dementia, it’s time to talk. Conversations with family members about memory loss and changes in behavior can be challenging and uncomfortable. This workshop will cover tips to reducing the stress related to doctor’s visits, deciding when to stop driving, and making legal and financial plans.

The free seminar will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 24, at the Evergreen Fire & Rescue Administration Building, 1802 Bergen Parkway, Evergreen.

Reservations are recommended. For more information or to RSVP, call 303-674-6400.
