Evans help us care for underinsured or uninsured patients as well as support numerous community services including grief counseling, transportation for patients to medical appointments, respite care for family caregivers, and Camp Comfort, a
bereavement camp for children.

There are many ways you can donate:

General Donations
You may make a monetary donation online with a credit card or by mailing your donation to our office. Our mailing address is Mt. Evans Hospice, 3081 Bergen Peak Drive, Evergreen, CO 80439.

Memorials and Honorariums
You may also make a monetary donation in memory or honor of an individual online with a credit card or by mailing your donation to our office with the name of the individual. If you include the name and address of a family member who should receive notice of your donation, we will send them a card.

Planned Giving, Stock & Appreciated Securities Donations, and Matching Gifts
As you prepare for the future, please remember to support Mt. Evans Hospice and Home Health Care in your will, trust, life insurance policy, or retirement plan.To donate stock or appreciated securities, contact Bill Potter at AG Edwards at 303-670-9122. Also check with your company to see if it offers a matching gift program for donations made to nonprofit organizations.

Sponsor a Child at Camp Comfort
Since 1995, Mt. Evans has hosted Camp Comfort, a unique weekend bereavement camp for children ages 6 to 12 who are grieving the death of a family member or friend. The cost for children to attend Camp Comfort is $150, but many are unable to afford that amount due to financial difficulties. You can make it possible for another child to attend camp by donating online or mailing your donation. Please designate that your donation is for “Camp Comfort.”

Event Sponsors
If you would like to be an event sponsor, Mt. Evans Hospice and Home Health Care has several opportunities. Each year, we hold a 4th of July 5K walk/run—the Freedom Run—and we are always looking for individual and business sponsors. We also have an annual benefit every year in February , where businesses and individuals donate items for our silent auction and also sponsor tables at the event. Mt. Evans Hospice Angels- These angels are handcrafted by volunteers and make a perfect memorial or honor gift. See this year’s angel here. If you purchase an angel, you can have a person’s name listed in the Book of Angels, kept at our offices January-November and put on display at the Evergreen Lake House in December. Buy one now. The Evergreen Angel- Since 1993, Evergreen Fine Art has created a new sterling silver Evergreen Angel pendant each year. A portion of the proceeds of this angel support Mt. Evans Hospice.

Recycle with Mt. Evans Hospice
Recycle your empty printer cartridges and old cell phones by dropping them off at the Mt. Evans Hospice office or one of the following sites: Evergreen Post Office, the EDS Transfer Station, Rising Graphics, Recycle America Alliance (recycling center behind the Bergen Park King Soopers), or Conifer Medical Center. In Idaho Springs, cartridges and cell phones can be recycled at Project Support and the Heritage Center. Mt. Evans will receive a donation for each used cartridge and cell phone collected

Donate Your Car
Mt. Evans has joined Cars Helping Charities, Inc. a vehicle donation corporation that allows individuals interested in donating a vehicle to select Mt. Evans Hospice as their non-profit agency of choice. Donors receive a tax deduction, and Mt. Evans receives a portion of the proceeds of each vehicle sale. Call 303-423-2277 for more information.

Donate Your Timeshare
We can accept timeshare properties through Donate For a Cause. Property owners get a tax write-off for their donation and Donate For a Cause takes ownership of the property to sell it with the proceeds going to Mt. Evans Hospice.
