Susan Adamowski, PT

Susan Adamowski, PT

Susan has worked as a physical therapist at Mount Evans since 2009. She performs physical therapy assessments to determine a patient's level of function and need for intervention. She then establishes PT programs and provides instruction to help patients reach optimal function. Susan has a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy, and has spent the last quarter of a century in home health care. A resident of south Evergreen, she loves dogs, reading, and learning about all kinds of people. Susan says, "Mount Evans is a very pleasant work environment where as a team we work together to improve patients' lives and ensure their safety so they can thrive."

Britta Heublein, OTR

Britta Heublein, OTR

Britta has worked as an occupational therapist at Mount Evans since 2013. She has a master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Texas Medical Branch, and a bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University. Britta lives in the Brook Forest area of Evergreen. She likes to camp with her family and ride her bike, and she loves being on or near the water. She says, “I am very happy to be part of this wonderful organization and to be among all of the amazing people who work for Mount Evans. It is so nice to be around so many people who are passionate about what they do.”

Kathleen Kane, Licensed Massage Therapist

Kathleen has been on the Mount Evans staff since 2001, providing therapeutic massages to patients in their home, at Life Care Center of Evergreen, and at Elk Run Assisted Living. Kathleen attended Carlson College of Massage Therapy in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, where she was certified in massage therapy in 1991. She regularly attends continuing education classes and has learned and practiced many massage techniques that she keeps handy in her toolkit. She has been a member of the American Massage Therapy Association since 1991, and is a former member of the National Sports Massage Team. In addition to her own massage therapy practice, Kathleen has worked in chiropractors’ offices, at Mount Evans, and at Life Care Center; she has also taught sports massage and volunteered at various functions over the years. She lives in South Evergreen with her husband, Mike; they have four children. She loves the outdoors, and she loves working at Mount Evans. “It’s important work,” she says, “Wonderful people … great parties!”

Mary Anne Kane, MA, CCC - SLP, Speech-Language Pathologist

Mary Anne Kane, MA, CCC - SLP, Speech-Language Pathologist

Mary Anne is responsible for diagnosis and treatment of speech, language, cognitive, voice, fluency and swallowing disorders for patients with neurogenic illness or injury. She holds a Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from The Ohio State University and a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech Language Hearing Association. Mary Anne worked in skilled nursing as a full-time speech language pathologist before transitioning into out-patient community-based therapy. She lives in Conifer, has two grown children and enjoys outdoor activities. Mary Anne serves the 285 corridor population and loves being able to work within her community through Mt. Evans.

Dawn Kervin, PT

Dawn Kervin, PT

Dawn provides our patients with vestibular rehab, balance assessment, and manual therapy. She received her doctorate in Physical Therapy from Regis University in Denver. Before she came to Mount Evans in 2013, she worked for Select Physical Therapy as a physical therapist and member of the outpatient orthopedic staff. Dawn lives in Evergreen with her husband and two spunky little girls. She enjoys traveling, baking, hiking, camping, down-hill and cross-country skiing, and pretty much anything where she can hang out with family and friends. She says, “I am excited to work here at Mount Evans. Everyone is so compassionate, caring, supportive and fun to be around. I have found an amazing team of people who care about helping others in our community.”

Amy T. Nelson, PT

Amy T. Nelson, PT

Amy is a physical therapist for our patients who live in Gilpin County. She earned her bachelor's degree in biology and has her master's and doctorate degree in physical therapy. She is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and she is certified in Active Release Technologies (ACT). She lives in Evergreen with her partner, Jenny and pup named Hazel. She enjoys trail running, listening to a variety of music, dancing and playing golf with her mom. She says, "I am happy to work at Mount Evans because the company, patients, employees and volunteers are awesome sauce!"

Jennifer Schreiber, OT

Jennifer Schreiber, OT

Jennifer started at Mount Evans in 2017 as an occupational therapist. In this role, Jennifer evaluates and treats patients in their homes so they can remain independent and age in place in their home environment. She has a bachelor's degree in human development and family studies with an emphasis in adult development and aging, along with a bachelor's in occupational therapy. Her professional background includes working as a Rehabilitation Director, OT lead, and Director of Clinical Operations. Jennifer lives in Evergreen with her husband, 2 daughters, golden retriever and cat. She says, "I am happy to work at Mount Evans in a supportive environment with a wonderful staff and help people stay independent in their homes with a better and safer quality of life."

Christine Smith, PT

Christine Smith, PT

Christine works with patients as a Home Health Physical Therapist. She earned her BA in Integrative Physiology from the University of Colorado Boulder and Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Colorado Denver.
Her history includes working with student athletes in Golden at Next Level Sports Performance. She then specialized in pelvic floor physical therapy with Cherry Creek Wellness Center for two years before joining Mount Evans.
She lives in Genesee with her husband, Max, and dog and running pal, Finn. She and Finn have ran a mile each day together since Thanksgiving of 2016! Crossfit, snowboarding, and water-skiing with her husband are some of her favorite things to do.

Deb Stellini, MA, CCC, Speech-Language Pathologist

Deb Stellini, MA, CCC, Speech-Language Pathologist

Deb is responsible for diagnosis and treatment of speech, language, cognitive, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders for patients with neurogenic illness or injury. She received her M.A. in Speech Language Pathology in 1981. She has worked in a variety of clinical settings over the past 35 years, primarily in private practice. She joined the Mount Evans staff in 1994. Deb lives in Genesee with her husband, Jim; they have two grown children. She enjoys swimming, traveling, reading, writing, and seeing Bruce Springsteen, wherever he may be performing. Deb says, “I have wanted to work in this field since I was 10 years old, and I have great passion about my career. It is nice to work with such an incredible team of professionals.”
