Susan Adamowski, PT
Susan has worked as a physical therapist at Mount Evans since 2009. She performs physical therapy assessments to determine a patient's level of function and need for intervention. She then establishes PT programs and provides instruction to help patients reach optimal function. Susan has a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy, and has spent the last quarter of a century in home health care. A resident of south Evergreen, she loves dogs, reading, and learning about all kinds of people. Susan says, "Mount Evans is a very pleasant work environment where as a team we work together to improve patients' lives and ensure their safety so they can thrive."
Sherrie M. Barton, OTR
Sherrie, who has been a Registered Occupational Therapist at Mount Evans since 1999, lives with her family in Evergreen. She received her master’s degree from George Washington University. She loves running, skiing, being the mother of two children, and the outdoors. Sherrie says, “I love working with Mount Evans home health and I enjoy meeting so many different types people with my job. I truly love and enjoy what I do!”
Isabelle Comina, PT
Isabelle has been a physical therapist for 23 years. After receiving her degree from Cleveland State University, she worked in several different settings, including hospitals, outpatient clinics, private clinics, and home health. Covering the I-70 corridor for Mount Evans, she evaluates and treats patients who are not operative, have chronic illnesses, or have safety issues at home. Isabelle grew up in Europe and speaks several languages. She lives in Evergreen, where she loves cooking, exercising, spending time with her family, and the outdoors.
Pat Dolan, PT
Pat has nearly 30 years' physical therapy experience in in-patient, out-patient, and home-health settings. He has been working with Mount Evans patients along the 285 Corridor since 2012. Pat received his B.S. in physical therapy at the University of Maryland at Baltimore. He lives in Conifer, and enjoys home repairs, hiking, biking, and skiing. He says, “This is a beautiful mountain area to work in, and so close to home! Mount Evans’ staff are truly positive people.”
Terri Everhart, PT
Terri started working with Mount Evans in 2016 as a physical therapist. She sees patients along the 285 Corridor and in Evergreen. Terri graduated from physical therapy school in 1987 from the University of Colorado Health Science Center. She has thirty years of experience in outpatient rehabilitation facilities and has experience treating multiple diagnoses, including sports injuries, muscular-skeletal injuries, post-op, and lymphadema. Terri is married and has two beautiful daughters, three pugs and two cats. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and enjoying nature. She has lived in Conifer for 22 years. Terri says, "I'm honored to work for such a reputable and caring agency!"
Britta Heublein, OTR
As an Occupational Therapist, Britta completes safety assessments and provides recommendations to make homes safer and more accessible; she helps people be safe and independent in their homes. She has a master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Texas Medical Branch, and a bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University. Before coming to Mount Evans in 2013, Britta worked at an inpatient rehab facility. She lives in the Brook Forest area of Evergreen. She likes to camp with her family and ride her bike, and she loves being on or near the water. She says, “I am very happy to be part of this wonderful organization and to be among all of the amazing people who work for Mount Evans. It is so nice to be around so many people who are passionate about what they do.”
Amy Hickson, OTR, CLT
Amy joined Mount Evans in July 2016 as an Occupational Therapist. She has been an occupational therapist for over 25 years in various settings, with the last 8 years exclusively in home health. As a home health occupational therapist, Amy assists patients in achieving their highest level of function so they can remain in their homes safely. Amy received her bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from Colorado State University and she is a Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT), receiving her certification from Klose Training. Amy moved to Evergreen from Salem, Oregon and she lives with her husband,Tracy and son, Logan. She enjoys travelling, hiking, camping, baking and reading. Amy says, "I really love working in home health care with a positive, patient-focused, team approach that Mount Evans really embodies."
Kathleen Kane, Licensed Massage Therapist
Kathleen has been on the Mount Evans staff since 2001, providing therapeutic massages to patients in their home, at Life Care Center of Evergreen, and at Elk Run Assisted Living. Kathleen attended Carlson College of Massage Therapy in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, where she was certified in massage therapy in 1991. She regularly attends continuing education classes and has learned and practiced many massage techniques that she keeps handy in her toolkit. She has been a member of the American Massage Therapy Association since 1991, and is a former member of the National Sports Massage Team. In addition to her own massage therapy practice, Kathleen has worked in chiropractors’ offices, at Mount Evans, and at Life Care Center; she has also taught sports massage and volunteered at various functions over the years. She lives in South Evergreen with her husband, Mike; they have four children. She loves the outdoors, and she loves working at Mount Evans. “It’s important work,” she says, “Wonderful people … great parties!”
Dawn Kervin, PT
Dawn provides our patients with vestibular rehab, balance assessment, and manual therapy. She received her doctorate in Physical Therapy from Regis University in Denver. Before she came to Mount Evans in 2013, she worked for Select Physical Therapy as a physical therapist and member of the outpatient orthopedic staff. Dawn lives in Evergreen with her husband and two spunky little girls. She enjoys traveling, baking, hiking, camping, down-hill and cross-country skiing, and pretty much anything where she can hang out with family and friends. She says, “I am excited to work here at Mount Evans. Everyone is so compassionate, caring, supportive and fun to be around. I have found an amazing team of people who care about helping others in our community.”
Diane Molacek, PT
Diane joined the Mount Evans field staff as a Physical Therapist in 2015. She has nearly three decades of experience as a physical therapist, in both outpatient and home-health settings. Diane received her degree from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in 1988. She lives in Bailey and likes to hike, snowshoe, and whitewater-raft with her husband and two adult children. She also likes spending time with her three dogs, cat, and horse. Diane says she enjoys working at Mount Evans because the staff is amazing, and she loves working in the community where she's lived for more than 25 years.
Tonya Rodgers, DPT
Tonya provides physical therapy to patients in their homes with the goal of increasing strength, improving balance, and ensuring patient safety with mobility at home. She holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree. Before coming to Mount Evans in 2013, she worked at Western Hills Health Care Center doing inpatient rehab. Tonya has lived in North Evergreen for almost 20 years. She has four children -- two in college, two at home. She loves hiking, cycling, and being outdoors in general -- she has ridden the MS 150 every year since 2010. She says she loves working with the "nice people" at Mount Evans: "Everyone puts the patients' needs first; it's a very supportive community."
Deb is responsible for diagnosis and treatment of speech, language, cognitive, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders for patients with neurogenic illness or injury. She received her M.A. in Speech Language Pathology in 1981. She has worked in a variety of clinical settings over the past 35 years, primarily in private practice. She joined the Mount Evans staff in 1994. Deb lives in Genesee with her husband, Jim; they have two grown children. She enjoys swimming, traveling, reading, writing, and seeing Bruce Springsteen, wherever he may be performing. Deb says, “I have wanted to work in this field since I was 10 years old, and I have great passion about my career. It is nice to work with such an incredible team of professionals.”
